The Official Base Camp of the World Barista Championship 2023 at Eurogat! A unique event in the global coffee industry will take place in Athens in June 2023.

For the first time, the World Barista Championship (WBC) of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) will be held in Greece as part of the World of Coffee event, the largest global coffee industry gathering.

To meet the requirements of the championship, WBC sponsors collaborated with Eurogat to create the WBC Base Camp Athens, where national barista champions from 57 countries will prepare for their participation in the global championship. Eurogat managed the entire official organization, meeting the highest standards, by setting up three Coffee Stations similar to those at the WBC global competition, fully equipped with sponsored equipment. As part of the preparation, our partner BWT water and more, a certified water filtration sponsor of WBC, installed a high-quality water filtration system in our space in accordance with SCA water standards.
