Macap, short for Macina Caffè Petiziol, took this name in the late 1980s. The company, now led by its third generation, was born in 1930 when founder Ottorino Petiziol opened his mechanical workshop in Venice. This significant initial technical background was collected and developed by the second generation, brothers Luigi and Antonio, and applied by the third, grandchildren Susanna and Marco, who are the present faces of the company, where deep specialization coexists with high industrialization.

This allows Macap, which now collaborates with more than 70 countries abroad, to offer a range of products that starts from traditional coffee grinders, to on-demand grinders (the first Italian company to have such a wide variety of models), to dynamometric pressure tampers (patented), showcasing Macap’s innovative capability.
